Quality Control (QC)

The QC part is a very important topic to Abson. Our eyes are the customer’s eyes and we constantly work at ensuring the agreed quality and delivery time.

Abson works with the customer in secure environments!

Inspectors:

Our employees in the quality department comprise a team of Chinese engineers who are well-educated, honest and experienced within each of their areas.

QC – Management:

In order to ensure the high quality level which the Western world demands, a European QC manager has been employed who is responsible for ensuring that the procedures and inspections live up to the customer’s demands.

QC – The Process:

• When the supplier has been found, a “Factory Audit” is conducted
• An inspection report of the product is prepared. This typically includes:
    - Number of units
    - What the product looks like (compared to samples, materials and colours)
    - Assembly of the product  
    - Function test and durability test   
    - Test of barcode  
    - Surface (are there scratches, etc.)
    - Test, verifying of certificates (CE, RoHS, etc.)
    - Packaging, pallet strength, etc.   
    - Labelling (shipping marks)   
    - Photos of the above points
• A number of random samples are selected according to the AQL method or arranged together with the customer
• No products are shipped without a written approval from one of our inspectors.

Equipment for inspection:

The quality department has modern tools and technology at its disposal for controlling and measuring – such as mechanical measuring, optical measuring and advanced digital measuring. Furthermore, we can conduct material tests on various types of metal alloys.
